chevy and toyota had a joint venture in fremont calif that built toyota cars and a few GM cars.

Besides the Pontiac Vibe looking like a Pontiac+Toyota Love Child… no throttle jamming, rice burning engines made their way into the GM lineup… even the Vibe had GM’s Ecotec.

And GMC never built "Cars", the smallest thing they build now is the Terrain.

No Chevys or GMCs have Toyota motors in them. I don’t know where you got your information but you were badly misinformed.
