Three other cars were built on the Citation platform: Buick Skylark, Olds Omega and Pontiac Phoenix. The Pontiac was the only other one that came as a hatchback. These cars were criticized for being of very poor quality, but I had an '81 Citation four-door hatchback, and I thought it was a great car. I had one weird problem with it; sometimes when I used the wipers or turn signals, the cruise control kicked in by itself, so I just unhooked that.
The early J-cars - Cavalier, Firenza, Skyhawk and J2000/Sunbird - were also available as hatchbacks.
Also '74 to '93 Mustangs and the coolest ones of all - '75 to '80 Chevy Monza, Pontiac Sunbird, Buick Skyhawk and Olds Starfire. I hate seeing one of these on craigslist, because I want another one so bad and I don't have the money. Good luck with your hunt.
