help!!! to all guys who can help me stand up for Chevy cars in class….?

ok i have a Chevy Camaro 89 and this one guy in my class has a ford mistake
i mean a ford mustang. i was telling him my car would kick his ass.
so he shut up cuz he knew it was true.
but the teacher got in it cuz he has a ford car. so he said
chevy i stay way from cuz they got bankrupt and said so much stuff like that.
i dont know very much about cars but im learning,
can u plz help me with some facts that Chevy is way better then ford

Some non-debatable facts.

Few use a Ford motor when a Chevy motor is available. You will see many Fords with a Chevy motor, but nearly no Chevys with anything but a Chevy. Why? Chevy’s motors are superior in nearly every facet, if not all of them. This is true of Small blocks, Big Blocks, and the new LS motors.

Same thing with Chevy transmissions.

Chevy’s bankruptcy/bail-out has more to do with banking and politics than their products. Ford was not affected by the mortgage crisis as hard as Chevy, who had a major mortgage division. Ford did manage their resources better than GM.

Chevy’s monetary problems have not gotten in the way of producing the best performing American car ever created (ZR-1), or beating the Mustang like a stepchild with the new Camaro.

they both suck. but chevy over Ford. By and large Fords have had more issues that were prevalent in many cars as opposed to Chevy. But they’re both dumb companies that finally learned to copy from other companies, namely Japanese.

You can always ask:
Q: "Why do you always find a chevy motor in fixed up fords?"
A: Because they’re better than Ford’s.
Q: " Why will you never find a ford motor in a chevy?"
A: Because chevy people aren’t stupid.

It’s true. I was watching Pinks a couple months back, and this guy in an 80-something Mustang had a 427 in it (actually, might have been a different CHEVY motor), and took 1st in the end.

And if you wanted to, you can bring in the newest competitors- I’m talking the 2010’s.
V6 Camaro has a 304hp engine compared to ford’s 256(?)hp in their V6 Mustang.
Manual V8 Camaro boasts 426hp Engine compared to the GT’s 314hp engine.
And a supercharged Shelby GT will only out run a Camaro SS (clean motor) by a second (maybe even a little less) in a quarter mile.
And it’s only the thing about Mustangs handling better than Camaro’s has only been a myth up until now, and only because the Camaro has a wider body this time around. But I think it’s worth it considering the extra POWER you’ll get.
I’m anxiously awaiting the Z28’s return. a 556hp 551ft-lb torque supercharged LSA is more of a match for a Shelby GT.

I’m a Chevy guy. My dad’s owned 3 Camaro’s before me (’67 RS/SS, ‘82 Z28, ‘69 RS/SS), and I’m boasting a ‘98 until I can get my hands on a 2010 sometime in 2013.

Charlie Says:

1st off I am a Chevy guy, but I own a Ford too. Both make good parts. Chevy guys run a Ford 9 inch rear end in 1/4 mile cars because they can take abuse. Chrysler guys run Chevy rear ends in their cars. Hell, the old Jeeps were made with a hodge podge of parts from different manufacturers , but they still run today.

Problem is corporate got gready over the years and now it’s biting them in the rear.

Pound for pound, Chevy makes a great car, parts are cheaper.

As far as trucks go, they about even, just Ford parts are more expensive.

Chevy is much more user friendly…This is why they put chevy small blocks in model A,s….Parts are cheap and plentiful…Small block is small block…Big block is big block…They don,t have three different starters or exhaust manifolds…They are simple…I used to be a chevy guy until I found Mopars!!!!There is no substitute for cubic inches!!!All throttle and no bottle!!!!
MOPARS RULE!!!!!
