are chevrolet s10 and chevy malibu good cars?

i am looking for a car and i found these:
Chevrolet s10 1990 with 83,000 miles for $5000
AND
Chevy malibu 1998 with 187,000 miles for $1000

are they any good?

both are great but thats too much for the s10

yes they are as long as they been taken care of

malibu is the best buy of the 2 the s10 is too much the owner is real proud of it
