do any states have restrictions on driving antique cars?

for example i heard in illinois you can only put so many miles on them per year
Yes, individual states have differing rules on how many miles you can accumulate a year on a car that is registered with classic/antique/historic vehicle license plates. If you don’t register the car as a classic or antique, you can [...]

Which antique vehicle should I choose to fix up?

I love antique cars and trucks. Some I like more than others, but I think most are beautiful and I also enjoy the history of them. Do you have any tips on helping me choose which specific model/year to invest in?
You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your [...]
