Should I need to special licence plate? pay fees? Am I allowed to drive them all on road??
I’m from the USA so I’m not sure of the laws in Canada, but here the only restriction would be that they need to be housed inside a building if they don’t run. To drive them, they would need to be licensed and insured. Other than that, I wouldn’t think there would be any special permits to have a collection of antique vehicles. Good luck!

My car needs new weather stripping. Is any old car shop capable of doing that, or should I look to a specific category of automotive maintenance?
Any body shop can order it for you or they can install it for you. If you just want to do it yourself, you can find places online that you can order it from and get it shipped to you.

We are opening a new auto repair shop. We are honest, and do quality work.
Looking for ideas on what we can do to be "noticed"
We want to offer some grand opening services. And even just some "activites" ( like giving out free hot dogs and drinks) to get people to come check us out.
All ideas welcomed!
I should also say that we are located in northern NJ
after almost 30 years in the biz,the best thing you can do is BE HONEST WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!, if you can do this you will have more biz than you will be able to handle..forget the dogs etc. on your grand opening have 10 dollar oil changes..it may cost you some cash ..but its a great way to meet new customers..be careful how much you try to up sell as this will get you a bad name ast…people only want fair…fair pricing on jobs and a fair days work for the money..if you can do that you will be busy..try direct mailing , now we do our own…also i would suggest you take a garage management seminar , it will give you lots of new ideas. good luck

i have a 84 Ford LTD. My car cranks but the fuel is not praying in the carborater but fuel is getting to the carborator. Currently the alternator is not on my car. Does my car or all older model cars need to be hooked up to the alternator so the fuel pump to have enough power to pump the fuel with enough force so it can spray in the carborater?
it maybe be possible that it has to be hooked up to make all the power connections it needs to fire but that depends if it has an electric fuel pump or not
